Rients and Margaret Mazereeuw currently live in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada and plan to retire from construction and college teaching in 2007. Having recently joined PIM as missionaries, they plan to begin work in the Sepik region of PNG in the summer of 2007. They will be active in PIM administration, its medical program and its building program.
Johannes and Sabine Schaber are sponsored by Liebenzell Mission International of Germany. Johannes taught at the Moropote Bible School in PNG and worked with youth of different villages to encourage their participation in local churches. Sabine worked with the women and the Sunday school in Moropote. We appreciate their work at Moropote. Their move to Ambunti will alleviate some transportation problems and open up a new opportunity for youth ministry in Ambunti.
Johannes and Carolin Waelde joined PIM in January of 2007. They are sponsored by Liebenzall Mission International of Germany. Johannes is a trained journeyman carpenter and has had medical training with the Red Cross. Carolin has had training in technical drawing for an architectural company.
Leah Heidema attends and leads the PIM women's devotions. She has weekly counseling with women who have marital problems. Leah was also part of the final editing of With All My Heart. Doug Heidema is CEO of PIM.
