Water Systems- Rain Water Storage Tanks.
To improve the health of the Sepik villagers by preventing disease from contaminated drinking water, PIM has installed 185 rain water storage tanks in more than 100 villages. |

Installing a rainwater catchment system

Large tanks are used to store rainwater. To collect the rainwater, a building is built with wood trusses and a frame to support the galvanized roof. Down pipes direct the water from the roof of the building to the rain water storage tank. |
